The BERING Automatic Watch Collection features a highly scratch-resistant and flat sapphire crystal covering a black sunray dial. This collection is continuously and reliably charged by the movement of the wearer's arm, thanks to the automatic movement.
The case is made from silver IP-plated medical grade (316L) stainless steel, measuring 43mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness. The strap is also crafted from silver IP-plated Milanese stainless steel, with a length of 200mm and a width of 20mm.
Designed to be water-resistant up to 3 ATM/30 meters/98 feet, the watch can withstand general resistance to rain, splashing, accidental submersion, and showering, though it is not suitable for swimming or bathing.
Exclusively developed in collaboration with Miyota, the VITUS 1728 precision movement powers the Automatic Collection, ensuring reliable and constant tension through the arm movements of the wearer. A highlight of the design is the glass bottom, which reveals interesting details of the intricate clockwork.
With its clean lines and elegant appearance, the BERING watch is a stylish companion for every occasion, inspired by the timeless beauty and durability of the Arctic landscape.
BERING's philosophy blends minimalist Danish design with high-quality, long-lasting materials. Inspired by the captivating Arctic, the brand's watches and jewelry feature clear, streamlined forms and pure elegance.
Constructed from first-class materials that are in perfect harmony with the timeless design, BERING products are known for their durability. Notably, all BERING watches are equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which is the third hardest transparent material after moissanite and diamonds.
In contrast, mineral glass, a common material in the watch industry, is less resistant and more susceptible to scratching. BERING, however, exclusively uses sapphire glass in its timepieces.
To start an automatic BERING watch, simply turn the crown in position 1 clockwise about 15-20 times until the natural movement of the hands resumes. To set the time, pull the crown to position 3 and turn it clockwise until the current time is displayed, ensuring the AM/PM setting is correct. To adjust the date, pull the crown to position 2 and turn it clockwise until the desired date is shown. Avoid setting the time between 8:30 PM and 2 AM, as this may prevent the date from changing correctly the following day.
